US-based software developer Insight Software Solutions is a company that is “dedicated to developing high quality, user friendly software products for Windows.” The applications developed by Insight Software Solutions are used by home users, small business, large corporations and government entities.

We have covered several Insight Software Solutions-developed applications here on FindMySoft before. For example we’ve covered ShortKeys, an application that will save you time if you do a lot of repetitive typing. And we’ve covered Zip Express, an application that allows you to search by zip code, city, county, state or area code.

We will now shift focus on yet another Insight Software Solutions-developed application, mainly on Capture Express. The first thing you need to know is that the download weighs in at some 5MB – after all, downloading the application is the first step you must take, should you decide to put this app through its paces. Now at about 5MB, the download should complete in no time at all.

The second step, the one you must take after the download completes, is to install the application. In this regard you will be glad to know that installing the application is a straightforward, simple and fast process. You will also be glad to know that Capture Express works just fine with pretty much any version of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system.

Once the application is up and running, it is time to enjoy the functionality it provides. You must now know what Capture Express can do for you. The application’s name is a pretty bug hint, but I am going to spell it out anyway: you can capture images displayed on your computer’s screen. You can then print, save or email the image you captured with Capture Express.

With Capture Express you can capture the entire screen, windows, and any rectangular area on the screen. You can also capture items in a variety of shapes, like rectangles, circles, ellipses, diamonds, triangles, stars and other user defined shapes.

During the capture process, you can always move the “grabber”. Other similar applications do not offer this sort of functionality. If you place the grabber in the wrong position, you have to stop the capture process and start all over again – this is not the case with Capture Express.
